Prices checked September 17, 2026. I’ll update this post with live deals when the sale starts on October 6.
If there’s one kitchen gadget that shows up in almost every Prime Day cart, it’s the air fryer. And with October Prime Day less than three weeks away, you might be tempted to grab one right now. Plenty of listings already have those red “Limited time deal” badges.
Here’s the thing, though. These are regular pre-sale prices, not Prime Day prices. Some are genuinely good. Others are still well above what the same air fryers sold for back in June, or during last October’s sale.
So I went through 13 air fryers on Amazon, from a $58 compact Chefman to a $250 Ninja air fryer oven. For each one, I’ll show today’s price, what it sold for in past sales where I could find it, and what I expect it to drop to in October. That way, you’ll know whether to buy now or hold your horses.
October Prime Day 2026 at a Glance
Amazon’s fall sale, officially called Prime Big Deal Days, runs from October 6 at 12 a.m. PT to October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PT. That’s 48 hours, and if you’re on the East Coast, it starts at 3 a.m. on the 6th.
Most deals are for Prime members only. A membership costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year, and new members can usually start with a free trial.
Don’t expect everything to go on sale at once, either. Amazon says new deals will drop three times a day through its Today’s Big Deals section. The air fryer that isn’t discounted in the morning might be by lunchtime.
What Past Sales Tell Us About October Air Fryer Prices
The best way to guess where prices are headed is to look at where they’ve been. Luckily, we’ve got two recent sales to learn from.
June 2026: Some Big Names Went Much Lower
June’s Prime Day ran from the 23rd through the 26th, and a few popular models dropped well below today’s prices.
The Cosori TurboBlaze, one of the highest-rated air fryers on Amazon, fell to $85 during the sale. Today it’s $110.50. That’s a $25 gap, and a pretty good hint that October has room to go lower.
Ninja’s 10-quart 6-in-1 DualZone air fryer dropped to $159.99 from $229.99 in June. Today the DZ302 sits at $199.99, $40 higher than its June sale price.
And one June 2026 deals guide listed the Ninja XL 5.5-quart air fryer at 44% off. Right now, it’s only 25% off.
October 2025: Last Year’s Prime Big Deal Days
Last year’s fall sale is just as useful, since it’s the same event we’re waiting for now. During Prime Big Deal Days 2025, Amazon had the Ninja XL 5.5-quart (AF150) at $129.99, the DZ302 DualZone at $159.99, and the Foodi XL Pro Air Oven (DT201) at $229.99.
Compare that with today:
- Ninja XL 5.5 Qt: $134.99 now vs. $129.99 last October, just $5 more
- Ninja DZ302 DualZone: $199.99 now vs. $159.99 last October, $40 more
- Ninja DT201 Air Fry Oven: $249.98 now vs. $229.99 last October, about $20 more
The pattern is clear. The DualZone has the most room to drop, while the Ninja XL is already close to last year’s sale price.
Why Today’s “Deals” Aren’t the Real Deal Yet
Almost every air fryer on my list has a discount badge right now, from 10% to 42% off. But those are everyday promotions that come and go. Prime Day discounts usually go a step further, especially on big brands like Ninja and Cosori.
That doesn’t mean every price will fall off a cliff. Budget models from Chefman and Gourmia are already near their usual sale floor, so I’d expect only small extra savings there. And listings marked “Deal selling fast” could sell out before October even arrives.
My advice? Add the air fryers you like to your cart or wish list today. Take a screenshot of the price, too. That way, when October 6 rolls around, you’ll know for sure whether the “deal” is really a deal.
What Size Air Fryer Do You Actually Need?
Before we get to the list, let’s talk size. It’s the one thing people get wrong most often, and it matters more than any discount.
2 to 4 quarts is great for one or two people. Think snacks, reheating leftovers, or a couple of chicken breasts. It also takes up less counter space, which is a big plus in small kitchens.
5 to 6 quarts is the sweet spot for most homes. It’s enough to cook dinner for two to four people without cooking in batches.
7 to 10 quarts, or a dual-basket model, is where families should look. A dual basket lets you cook two foods at two different settings at the same time, like wings in one basket and fries in the other. It’s a real time-saver on busy weeknights.
Air fryer ovens are bigger again. They can roast a whole chicken, bake a small pizza, and often replace your toaster oven. The catch is that they eat up a lot of counter space.
A quick tip before you buy: measure your counter, including the space under your cabinets. Many air fryers vent hot air out the back or top, so they need some breathing room. And check the wattage. Bigger models can draw 1,700 watts or more, which may trip a breaker if they share a circuit with your microwave or kettle
The Air Fryers I’m Watching
Here’s my list, grouped by price. For each air fryer, you’ll see today’s price, my estimated October price, what I like, the catch, and whether I’d buy now or wait. Estimates are educated guesses, so take them with a grain of salt.
Budget Picks Under $80
These four are already cheap, and that’s both good and bad news. Good, because you won’t overpay if you buy today. Bad, because there isn’t much room left for October to cut. Expect just small extra savings here, maybe $5 to $15.
Chefman 4 Qt Compact Air Fryer – $57.92
Est. October price: $45–55
Rating: 4.6 stars (3,784 reviews), Overall Pick, 10K+ bought in the past month
This little Chefman is flying off the shelves, and it’s easy to see why. It’s compact, has touchscreen controls with four presets, and its Hi-Fry setting gives food an extra crispy finish. The basket is nonstick and dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a piece of cake.
The catch is size. Four quarts is perfect for one or two people, but it’ll feel cramped for a family dinner.

My take: Fine to buy now if you need one today. Otherwise, wait, since you might save another $5 to $10.
Gourmia 7 Qt Air Fryer – $59.99
Est. October price: $50–55
Rating: 4.5 stars (2,017 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 1K+ bought in the past month
Under sixty bucks for seven quarts is a lot of air fryer for the money. That’s roomy enough for families. You get 12 cooking presets, a digital touch display, and a dishwasher-safe basket and crisper tray.
The catch? It tops out at 400°F, while several Chefman models reach 450°F. For most everyday cooking, that’s fine, but you may not get the same crunch.

My take: Great value already. Wait if you can, but don’t expect big extra savings.
Chefman TurboFry 8 Qt Air Fryer – $79.93
Est. October price: $65–75
Rating: 4.4 stars (16,646 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 4K+ bought in the past month
This is the most-reviewed Chefman on my list, and it earns its keep. The 8-quart basket handles a family meal, and the 450°F Hi-Fry option gives fries and wings that extra crunch. It also bakes, dehydrates, and has a frozen-food setting.
The catch is that it’s a 4-in-1, so you get fewer cooking modes than pricier models like the Cosori.

My take: A solid buy at this price. Still, 33% off is a regular promo, not a Prime Day price, so waiting could save you a few more dollars.
Chefman 6 Qt Dual Basket Air Fryer – $79.94
Est. October price: $65–75
Rating: 4.2 stars (4,735 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 1K+ bought in the past month
If you want two baskets without paying Ninja prices, this is your cheapest ticket in. You can cook two foods at once, and Sync Finish makes sure both are ready together. The viewing windows are handy, too.
The catch: each basket holds just 3 quarts, so a whole chicken is out of the question. It’s also rated a little lower than the other Chefmans here.

My take: Wait. At 20% off, it has the smallest discount in this budget group, so October could bring a noticeably better price tag.
Mid-Range Single-Basket Picks
This is where things get interesting. These four cost a bit more, but they come from brands that usually show up big on Prime Day. One is already at a 90-day low, while two others were noticeably cheaper in June.
Instant Vortex XL 6 Qt Air Fryer – $89.99
Est. October price: $75–85
Rating: 4.6 stars (42,920 reviews), 1K+ bought in the past month
With nearly 43,000 reviews, this is the most-reviewed air fryer on my list by a country mile. It crisps, roasts, bakes, and reheats, the parts are dishwasher safe, and Instant’s app has more than 100 recipes if you need ideas.
It’s carrying a “90-day low price” badge, which means it’s at its lowest price in the past three months. That’s a more trustworthy signal than a crossed-out list price.
The catch is that it’s only a 4-in-1.

My take: Fine to buy now. October might shave off a few more dollars, but this is already a good price.
Chefman Crispinator 8 Qt Air Fryer – $99.91
Est. October price: $85–95
Rating: 4.5 stars (777 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 1K+ bought in the past month
The Crispinator is Chefman’s fancier option. It reaches 450°F, has a viewing window so you can check on your food without pulling the basket, and comes with a nonstick ceramic basket. It’s a 6-in-1 with 8 quarts of space, so it works for families.
The catch is the review count. With 777, it has the fewest of any air fryer here.

My take: Keep an eye on this one. The “Deal selling fast” badge means this price could disappear before October, so check back often.
Cosori TurboBlaze 6 Qt Smart Air Fryer – $110.50
June Prime Day price: $85 | Est. October price: $85–100
Rating: 4.8 stars (21,826 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 1K+ bought in the past month
If I had to pick one air fryer from this whole list, this would be it. It has the highest rating here, and it’s packed with features: nine cooking modes, a temperature range from 90°F to 450°F, five fan speeds, and shake reminders so your fries brown evenly. You can even control it remotely, and the cream finish looks sharp on a countertop.
The catch is timing, not the air fryer. During June’s Prime Day, it dropped to $85. That’s $25.50 less than today. One air fryer site also notes it regularly falls to around $100 during sale events.

My take: Wait. At just 15% off, there’s plenty of room to fall, and anything under $100 is a great buy.
Ninja Air Fryer XL 5.5 Qt (AF150AMZ) – $134.99
Oct 2025 sale price: $129.99 | Est. October price: $100–130
Rating: 4.7 stars (8,830 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 900+ bought in the past month
Ninja’s XL is the dependable choice. The 5.5-quart basket fits 3 pounds of wings, it runs at 1,750 watts, and the parts go in the dishwasher. It air fries, roasts, reheats, and dehydrates without any fuss, which is exactly what most people want.
The catch is price history. Last October it sold for $129.99, just $5 below today. A June guide listed it at 44% off, and back in 2024 it hit $89.99. It also maxes out at 400°F.

My take: Wait. It’s been much cheaper before, but don’t hold your breath for $89.99 again. Anything under $110 is a solid deal.
Dual-Basket Pick
Dual-basket air fryers are a lifesaver for busy families. You can cook the main dish and the side at the same time and have both ready together. For once, it pays to put your eggs in two baskets instead of one.
Ninja Foodi DualZone 10 Qt (DZ302) – $199.99
June and Oct 2025 sale price: $159.99 | Est. October price: $160–180
Rating: 4.7 stars (1,042 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 2K+ bought in the past month
This is the air fryer I’d pick for a busy family. It has two 5-quart baskets, room for 8 pounds of wings, and six cooking modes. Smart Finish gets both baskets done at the same time, while Match Cook copies one basket’s settings to the other when you’re cooking a big batch.
The catch is the small discount. At 13% off, it’s $40 above the $159.99 it sold for in June and during last October’s sale.
You may also spot it twice in Amazon’s search results. It’s the same model, so don’t let that trip you up.

My take: Wait. This one has the best odds of a big price drop on my list.
Air Fryer Ovens and Grills
Air fryer ovens do more than air fry. They can toast, bake, and roast bigger meals, and some can replace your toaster oven entirely. Just make sure you have the counter space before you add one to your cart.
Cuisinart Compact Air Fryer Toaster Oven (TOA-26) – $129.95
Est. October price: $100–115
Rating: 4.1 stars (2,110 reviews), 700+ bought in the past month
If you want an air fryer that doubles as a toaster oven, Cuisinart’s compact model is a sensible pick. It has six functions, adjustable temperature, and a stainless steel finish. It also comes with an oven rack, baking pan, and air fry basket, so you’re ready to go right out of the box.
The catch? At 4.1 stars, it’s the lowest-rated air fryer on my list.

My take: Wait. At 13% off, there’s room for a better price, and I wouldn’t pay much more than $115.
Emeril Lagasse 26 Qt French Door Air Fryer Toaster Oven – $189.99
Est. October price: $150–170
Rating: 4.3 stars (17,781 reviews), 5K+ bought in the past month
This is the big one. The 26-quart Emeril Lagasse oven has French doors, 24 cooking functions, a dual-speed fan, and a rotisserie for roasting chicken. It’s roomy enough for family meals, and with more than 5,000 sold last month, it’s clearly a crowd favorite.
The catch is size. It’s much bulkier than a basket air fryer, so measure your counter and the space under your cabinets first. It’s also rated a bit lower than the Ninja models on this list.

My take: Wait. At just 10% off, this one could see one of the bigger dollar drops in October, so there’s no rush.
Ninja Foodi Smart XL Indoor Grill and Air Fryer (FG551) – $219.99
Est. October price: $170–200
Rating: 4.7 stars (15,310 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 2K+ bought in the past month
This one’s a little different. The Ninja Foodi Smart XL is an indoor grill first and an air fryer second, with six cooking functions in one machine. It’s a handy way to get grill marks on steaks and burgers once the weather turns chilly, and it’s one of the best-rated picks here.
The catch is capacity. As an air fryer, it holds just 4 quarts, so it’s not ideal if air frying is your main goal.

My take: Keep an eye on it. The “Deal selling fast” badge means stock could run low, but I’d still expect a better price in October.
Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven (DT201) – $249.98
Oct 2025 sale price: $229.99 | Est. October price: $210–240
Rating: 4.4 stars (6,699 reviews), Amazon’s Choice, 1K+ bought in the past month
The priciest air fryer on my list is also one of the most capable. Ninja’s XL Pro oven fits a 5-pound chicken, runs at 1,800 watts, and handles 10 jobs, including air frying, baking, toasting, dehydrating, and pizza.
The catch is power. At 1,800 watts, it’s best kept off a circuit shared with other power-hungry appliances.
Still, 34% off is already a solid discount. Last October, it sold for $229.99, about $20 less than today.

My take: Fine to buy now if you need it. Wait if you’d like to save another $10 to $40.

My Predictions for October 6–7
A quick reminder: these are educated guesses based on past sales, not inside information. Amazon doesn’t share its deal list ahead of time.
Ninja and Cosori will likely see the biggest drops. The Ninja DualZone and Cosori TurboBlaze are both well above their past sale prices, so they have the most room to fall. I’d be surprised if the DualZone didn’t land somewhere between $160 and $180.
Budget models won’t budge much. The Chefman and Gourmia picks are already under $80, so expect small extra cuts of about $5 to $15.
Air fryer ovens could drop $20 to $40. The Emeril and Cuisinart have small discounts right now, so there’s room to move. The Ninja DT201 is already 34% off, so its drop may be smaller.
Some deals may vanish early. Items marked “Deal selling fast” could sell out before the sale even starts.
Black Friday won’t necessarily be better. Android Central describes Big Deal Days as the kickoff of fall sales and an early look at Black Friday pricing. So if you spot a good price in October, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
How to Spot a Real Air Fryer Deal
A red badge doesn’t always mean a real bargain. Here’s what I check before buying.
Check the price history. Free tools like Keepa and CamelCamelCamel show what an air fryer has actually sold for. If today’s “deal” matches its usual price, it’s not much of a deal.
Trust the “90-day low” badge more than list prices. It’s based on real recent prices, not a number the seller picked.
Watch for duplicate listings. The same model can appear more than once in search results, like the Ninja DZ302 on my list. Compare model numbers, not just photos.
Compare max temperatures. Models that reach 450°F usually crisp food faster than ones capped at 400°F.
Check the basket coating. Most baskets are traditional nonstick, while a few, like the Chefman Crispinator, use a ceramic coating. Pick whichever you prefer.
Add items to your cart now. You’ll spot price changes more easily on October 6.
Set a deal alert. Amazon says Alexa for Shopping can send alerts for deals on specific products or categories.
FAQ
When is October Prime Day 2026?
Prime Big Deal Days runs from October 6 at 12 a.m. PT to October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Will air fryers be cheaper on October Prime Day than they are now?
Most likely, especially Ninja and Cosori models. For example, the Ninja DZ302 is $199.99 today, but it sold for $159.99 during last October’s sale. Budget models will probably see smaller drops.
Should I buy now or wait?
Wait, unless you need one right away. If you can’t wait, the Instant Vortex XL is already at a 90-day low, and the Ninja DT201 is 34% off.
Which air fryer size is best for a family of four?
A 5- to 6-quart basket works for most families. If you often cook a main and a side together, go for 8 quarts or a dual-basket model like the Ninja DualZone.
Do I need Prime to get these deals?
For most of them, yes. Prime costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
Final Thoughts
October Prime Day is shaping up to be a good time to buy an air fryer, but patience will pay off. Most prices on my list are regular promotions, and several popular models sold for less in June or last October.
My shortlist? Wait for the Cosori TurboBlaze and the Ninja DualZone, since they have the most room to drop. If you need one now, the Instant Vortex XL is already at a 90-day low. And on a tight budget, the Chefman 4 Qt is hard to beat.
I’ll update this post with live prices on October 6, so check back then.
